The site is located on The Fairway, adjacent to the Fairway and Northway schools. It is inaccessible and lies on the ground of a previously demolished school. To the rear of the site is woodland and Stoney Wood Lake.
The site is currently occupied as a car storage facility. Prior to that, it was blighted by extensive fly-tipping.
The site has been empty for many years and as a result, it has failed to contribute positively to the neighbourhood. Our proposals will create new publicly accessible streets and provide visual links from the Fairway to the woodland.
